I have a similar saw with cast iron wings that are not solid but have a criss-cross pattern. I like it but I have to do a few things to improve it. My arbot has a bit of runout / wobble and I still have to possibly get a better fence for it because everyone says the stock fence is not very good. I've still used it this way for a while and it works, just not so refined.
Hi Kevin, I just got an older craftsman saw (Model 113.29920) and I am reassembling it as well. It did not have any v-belts, as it does take 2. The parts sheet lists the v-belt number as 9-1795, and I can't seem to find any cross reference numbers for their replacement. Any suggestions? Thanks for the video.
I just got one I’m beginning to clean up too. Any recommendations on 120v motor upgrades, fence system, or other things? I’m going to start with table top, cast pulleys, and a link belt...
I discovered a problem yesterday with my 113.298030 Craftsman table saw when I tried to tilt the blade to cut a 45 degree. Beyond 10 degrees it got increasingly hard to turn the wheel. I did everything I could to get it freed up to no avail....could only get to 20 degrees. Brushed the screw rod, lubed it everywhere I could. Don't know why it's so hard to turn...do you have any ideas short of dismantling the saw???
I just bought a Craftsman model 113.298720C Contractor’s Table Saw for $50 from Facebook Marketplace 3 days ago. Wow! Is it heavy with the cast iron table extensions on each side. The only thing missing is the blade guard assembly. I found one on eBay but it would cost me over $200 Canadian to get it from the seller in Texas and $125 of that is what he wants for shipping. Not going to buy from him. Any suggestions?
Where can I find a wheel handle for this saw
I’ve been enjoying my 113, but it stopped working. Problem seems to be a red reset button left
Hello, I have a Craftsman Model 113-242460 C and need a new motor for it. Can you direct me to a proper replacement?
